Have not turned it off, literally listening to it whenever I get a chance. It's so catchy and well strung together, and puts you in a good mood! The sunshine outside doesn't hurt either :)

Ps. Tomorrow is my birthday :) I'm pretty excited to spend the day with my mom, go out for supper with my close group of friends and then go dancing all night! We had a family supper, cake and presents last night because it was the only night we were all free! My brother's girlfriend and I share the same birthday (just 2 years apart) so we always celebrate together. 5 birthdays in a row...crazy how time flies! Here's some cake pictures :)

I just downloaded the Jason Castro self titled album and it's pretty adorable! "Let's Just Fall in Love Again" is my favourite by far, so catchy and happy.

What a Wicked Game You Play

I wrote a letter today, worked a lot more on my play, and made some special gifts with a pen and paper for some lovely gems in my life. There's something about writing that is just so peaceful to me, sitting in a dimly lit room with some soothing music on...it just doesn't get better!

Music of the day:
Another Gossip Girl soundtrack one for ya! This song relates to a very recent person that was in my life, and it's like every word of this song drips with a little of my sadness of the loss of someone so important. The funny part is that when someone abandons or betrays you, you don't always miss the person as much as that closeness with someone, just being able to have that person on duty for you all the time. But again, my friends and family are the loves of my life, so really? What else could a girl ask for to be happy :)

It's my birthday in a week and two days, and I am again...excited beyond words. I'm sort of obsessed with birthdays, I just love the joy that surrounds them! Plus I can be a bit of an attention addict, haha :) I just did a few webcam pictures for today, doing a photo shoot tomorrow so we'll get some good pictures hopefully! This is THE most comfortable bandeau I've ever owned, Forever21 really has the most perfect items!

Frozen and Can't Breath

Posts two days in a row! Stoked :)

I just got back from Beauty and the Beast 3D, can't wait to go again! Everyone that knows me is aware of my serious Disney addiction. Just can't seem to shake it ;) It was like -40 out today...a nice Disney pick-me-up is just what I needed!

It's even better if you're an addict to the show like me, but even if you don't watch GG the music from it is amazing. A lot of it is very beautiful and unique, with some extremely talented musicians. It's all mood music, happy/sad/excited/mellow/excited, it's got a song for every occasion!

Favourite:

I'm sort of doing a repeat of yesterday, but pictures of my massive collection of sunglasses and headbands! I didn't realize how many I had until I laid them all out. And I'm positive I'm missing at least 3 pairs of sunnys, possibly more. My headbands are from when Blair Waldorf wore them all the time in Gossip Girl, and now that she has stopped so have I! I didn't notice what I was doing until someone pointed it out, and now I'm proud of myself for following one of my biggest inspirations for fashion! The last few are just showing the ridiculously small amount of space I have for my clothes, which is over flowing. I'm going to be selling/giving away a lot of them soon :)

Light Up My World Like Nobody Else

Reading through past blog posts...and majority of them start with my favourite music at the moment, so? Another new music addiction? I think so! The boys of One Direction are like 5 little balls of joy and adorableness. And I know it's predictable of me to like these young cuties, I just can't help it!  They have a great sense of humour, they're cute, they can sing, they have radiant personalities and charm, annddd...did I mention how precious they are? :) Anyway, I've been listening to them a lot lately and their music is catchy, fun and the lyrics make any girls heart melt.
Oh, and the new Black Keys album is honestly amazing, the music is so...I can't think of a word to describe how great it is. Hold on, thesaurus here I come! Words for...perfect? Results: Beyond compare, supreme, out-of-this-world (an actual result, love it), faultless. They all work!

So big news that I completely forgot to share!! I'm writing and directing my very own play in the Potash Corp Saskatoon Fringe Festival this summer! Absolutely ecstatic, I feel like I've really been  pushing forward with theatre this past year and it puts a smile on my face when I think about it. I'm also nervous beyond words, considering I've never written a play before...ha. Oh dear. Cross your fingers for me? Please? :) I've got the entire story line done and am working on the dialogue currently! Character development has always been my favourite part of writing, so writing a play should be right up my alley, at least I hope so haha. We'll see how it goes!

I decided to do something a little different today, as it has been freezing outside and there have been no chances for pictures of me wearing outfits...it's my outfits! Hanging on my door! My two favourites right now are the ones I decided to snap this time, enjoy :) And have a great week!

PS! Christmas and New Years were the loveliest I've had in years, seriously. I love my family, and had a great Christmas with them. Had a week to myself as my parents went off to Ontario on Boxing Day, things got a little crazy and out of hand, but sometimes that's just how I like it! Being busy and having a crazy schedule every day can make time fly, but it sure does bring in some great memories and new adventures. Got to see some of my favourite people who came home for Christmas and there are one or two whom I miss with all my heart <3 Great people, great reunions, great memories...and great food :)

I Believe I'll Move The Mountains

Bryce Avary (singer/musician of The Rocket Summer) is the most stunning person. Of all time. "Of Men and Angels" has to be my favourite album right now, I am absolutely addicted! "Roses" and "Walls" are a couple of songs you muuuust listen to as soon as possible, so lovely.

Today was the first day in a long time I've had a chance to get out to take pictures when the sun was still up! That's the trouble with it getting dark outside by 5 pm, as you can tell the sun is already setting in these pictures and it was only 3:30!! It makes me sad and sleepy, but at the same time I just focus on the fact that after tomorrow it is only going to get brighter earlier and earlier every day! How exciting :) I just got this coat at my favourite store in the city, Tonic. I also got these boots from Zara on my Calgary trip, one of my favourite purchases the whole trip! Well, every purchase is always my favourite because clothing just makes me happy, but I get an every day use out of these boots :)

Is everyone ready for Christmas? I can't believe it's only 5 days away!! I'm still not done shopping, yikes. Hopefully I can get everything bought and wrapped before the big day arrives. I love Christmastime, it's amazing to be around friends and family with so much joy in our hearts. I wish you all the best at this special time!

Just Carry Me Home Tonight

One of my all time favourite voices, Nate Ruess, has released a new single with his band fun. and I am just ecstatic. I felt the need to share it with the internet! Because, after all, it is pure bliss. My week has been a little tough, some stress and just some bad situations, and music has really been my shoulder I've been leaning on. It always helps through the rough patches in life when I feel like I have nothing else to count on to bring me back up. So next time you're feeling down, please take a listen to songs like this! You just can't go wrong with a unique voice, beautiful lyrics and music that seems to lift the soul.

I also just watched My Sisters Keeper for the first time, and now know why no one would go with me in theatres! Okay okay, I cry in movies, but it's usually not embarrassing or anything crazy. This movie on the other hand, well, let's just say I got a little messy. So fantastic regardless of the sadness and unresolved ending, but what I loved the most is that it was real. It was life. It didn't hide the hard times that come along with any time life puts some weight on your shoulders, and it showed the amazing times you can have despite everything crappy going on around you. That you can smile, no matter how much it seems like there is nothing left to look forward too, that there's always going to be something to keep you going. It had a great message, a real story, and it seemed to fit with my life right now. Can't go wrong with that! Really hit home, and I loved it.

Anyway, enough rambling!! Just wanted to share some words.
