Alright, here it goes! My attempt to post from my phone. Let's see how smart you really are "smart phone"...I sell cell phones as my job so I'm sure I can figure this out :) 


The Saskatchewan summer is finally kicking in! Regardless of the rain today, it's been warm and sunny almost all the time lately, which lifts my spirits like crazy! Can't wipe this little grin off my face, which really is never a bad thing. I've been in such a fantastic mood lately, might be the weather or my amazing family and friends. Probably both! My fringe play audition are soon, really looking forward to start some rehearsals and get a cast together! Kind of feels like I'm starting my dreams :) 


Music addiction: Carly Rae Jepsen. A little lame, I'm aware. But seriously, all her songs are just so darn catchy! Can't get her out of my head, her newest album is so good on a summer drive. Windows down, sunnies on, hair all flowing. There's just something about it to make your heart flutter a bit! 


Also Phillip Phillips, American Idol Season 11 winner. As Randy said, he reminds me of Mumford and Sons so much! Which is awesome, because I love them a lot :)

You're All I Want, You're All I Need

Music of the moment: Fleetwood Mac galore. I've been listening to their Greatest Hits album on repeat ever since Stevie Nicks was on American Idol. My best friend and I used to love them as kids because our moms would listen to them whenever we went anywhere, and the music just reminds me of a simpler time :)

Easter was such a lovely weekend for me! Had a few days off so had a lot of family time crammed into it, which is always a plus. Got to see my moms family, my dads family and my best friends family. Hectic, but fun and filled with wine (maybe a little too much at times haha). I really enjoyed seeing the bestie's family, it had been a few months since I had seen her extended family so it was nice to catch up. We are basically sisters, so I am accepted as a part of their family.

Had a great morning with my little sister again, she's quite the gem! Went down Broadway, my favourite street, and took some pictures. Basically just gets me in "Fringe mode" every time I'm on that street! Sigh. I want summer so badly. Soon...soon!

Life has been hectic for me lately, hence the zero posts for a month. Fringe play writing, working lots, my mom had surgery and the holidays. It all has been keeping me pretty tied up! Hopefully I can get back on track this week and get more organized!!

I'm Officially Crying of Excitement

The Rocket Summer is coming to my home city.
I can't explain to you what this means to me...unless you know what it feels like to just let your entire heart out whenever you hear someone's voice sing. Because that's how I feel about Bryce Avary. I wrote about him in another post a little while back, and his band is something I've been passionate about for years. Every single song is like a little connection to my soul and emotions. Relatable, catchy, stunning, perfect, amazing, fantastic, beautiful, and any other good descriptive word you can conjure up is absolutely fitting for the wonders that are this man. This lovely, lovely man. Voice of an angel.

But please please please go listen to his music if you have yet to hear him!! These are a few of my favourites!

And this was the first song I heard by him which made me fall instantly in love.

And now I'm going to go listen to him nonstop until May, which is how long I now have to wait to see him! Sigh. I will barely be able to focus on anything else before that!!

Some of my friends had been posting links to this artist's website for a couple weeks now, and I finally decided to check it out. Have not turned it off, literally listening to it whenever I get a chance. It's so catchy and well strung together, and puts you in a good mood! The sunshine outside doesn't hurt either :)

Ps. Tomorrow is my birthday :) I'm pretty excited to spend the day with my mom, go out for supper with my close group of friends and then go dancing all night! We had a family supper, cake and presents last night because it was the only night we were all free! My brother's girlfriend and I share the same birthday (just 2 years apart) so we always celebrate together. 5 birthdays in a row...crazy how time flies! Here's some cake pictures :)
