Such a beautiful song with heart warming lyrics. Which goes along perfectly with the gorgeous weekend I had. Get ready for me to be all fuzzy for the next while!

My cousin got married yesterday, and it was filled with smiles, tears, laughter and just love all around. It was the first wedding of our family and we're pretty tight-knit so there was a lot of excitement within our family! One of the first times I've seen that girl in a dress too, she's quite the tom boy and it was nice to see her get excited over a dress :) Her husband is more than perfect for her and our family, and we all couldn't be happier to welcome him into our family (although he was basically one of us the day we met him!). It was an outdoor wedding, and thankfully it was sunny out! It rained every single other day of the week, so it was extremely lucky!! The ceremony was beautiful.

Here's some snaps of the newly weds and my lovely family and my handsome date :) He bought a tie just to match me, what a sweetheart!!

Those were just my favourites, so many more photos of the joy that went on!!

Wishing you all get to go to some weddings this summer too! They are so much fun every time. My feet are still killing me from dancing all night, my dance partner really tired me out haha.

You're So Magnetic

Well, it's official! My play has been cast, and rehearsals will be starting all too soon! My heart beats a little faster and my hands get a little shaky every time I think about what this summer has in store for me. It's thrilling to say the very least! Best part of Fringe? Seeing everyone I've been missing over the past year from all across the country, the continent, and honestly all over the world. Some of my favourites are from Winnipeg, Vancouver, Edmonton, New York, L.A., London and even South Africa. People come from around the globe to be a part of the magic that is the Fringe Theatre Festival, sharing in the same passions and dreams. The people who I've met have been my inspiration to think big, and dream bigger. You can't be stopped if you're determined enough, after all.

Even The Stars They Burn

Summertime really has to be the best time. Auditions for my play start in two days, I'm absolutely thrilled. There's been a fair amount of buzz about it from what I can tell, which is seriously exciting. And nerve racking. I might have been a nervous wreck for the past week, my coworkers and friends can seriously vouch for that one. Haha. Apologies to all of you who have had to deal with me, and thanks in advance for putting up with my anxiety this summer :) La la la, things coming together really freak me out and excite me at the same time. My emotions, nerves, stress levels and basically just my life in general have been a bit of roller coaster this month. Lots of downs, but a whole bundle of ups too! Gotta focus on the positives!!

Jason Mraz's new album is absolute bliss. I'm Coming Over Tonight is basically the cutest hidden track of my life. It's so upbeat, fun, lovey and just puts you in a fantastic mood.

Anyone else really missing being a kid lately? I miss tying my balloon around my wrist, wearing water wings in the pool and putting cartoon band aids on my scraped knees. Wait, I still do all of those...minus the water wings :)

Anyway, went shopping at some second hand stores this afternoon and ended up doing some DIY crop tops and short shorts! Feeling like I accomplished a bit of something today at least.

Phone Blogging

Alright, here it goes! My attempt to post from my phone. Let's see how smart you really are "smart phone"...I sell cell phones as my job so I'm sure I can figure this out :) 


The Saskatchewan summer is finally kicking in! Regardless of the rain today, it's been warm and sunny almost all the time lately, which lifts my spirits like crazy! Can't wipe this little grin off my face, which really is never a bad thing. I've been in such a fantastic mood lately, might be the weather or my amazing family and friends. Probably both! My fringe play audition are soon, really looking forward to start some rehearsals and get a cast together! Kind of feels like I'm starting my dreams :) 


Music addiction: Carly Rae Jepsen. A little lame, I'm aware. But seriously, all her songs are just so darn catchy! Can't get her out of my head, her newest album is so good on a summer drive. Windows down, sunnies on, hair all flowing. There's just something about it to make your heart flutter a bit! 


Also Phillip Phillips, American Idol Season 11 winner. As Randy said, he reminds me of Mumford and Sons so much! Which is awesome, because I love them a lot :)
